Registration Fee

A registration $200 fee is required with the application for admission. Registration fees are charged to cover enrollment procedures, orientation information and other admin costs for the year. ​​

Tuition

Tuition is based on a monthly fee which reserves your child's place in the classroom. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Post Dated Cheques or e-transfer.

Parents wishing to pay in monthly installments in either cheque or cash must make payments on or before the first of the following month. Annual receipts for income tax purposes are made to all parents in January.

Payments made after the fifteenth of the month are charged an additional $30.00 book keeping fee. Children cannot remain in the program if the previous month's tuition is unpaid. There will be a $50.00 charge on all N.S.F. cheques or any returned cheques.

Please note that some months are short months (i.e. February, December and September), but tuition installments remain the same.

Child care subsidy is available and can be applied for independently. Parents are responsible for applying well in advance prior to the first of the month that day care services are required.

Fees are not refundable due to illness or any other absence. Children taking extended vacations will be required to pay full tuition before leaving the program to reserve the child's place in the classroom. Failing to pay tuition at any time will result in losing a place to a child on our waiting list.

Withdrawals

Children may be withdrawn from the program with a 30 day written notice. Any unused posted dated cheques will be returned. Note there are no mid-month withdrawals. The full month must be paid.

Our daycare works in partnership with parents to provide the best learning experience for the child. We request that parents work with the staff when referrals for special needs are necessary. Should it be determined by the staff that the school cannot meet the needs of the child; the school maintains the right to request the withdrawal of the child, waiving the 30 days notice.

Hours of Operation

Rochester Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, except for statutory holidays. All fees are for one month of childcare service and are fixed regardless of the number of stat holidays and emergency closures such as extreme weather. The rates are subject to change annually with prior notice.

Ages of Acceptance

At Rochester Daycare we accept children starting from ages 2.5-5 years old.  We are not accepting children for Before & After School care at this time.

Snacks & Meals

We provide nutritious snacks and lunches that align with the nutrition policies and guidelines put forth by Fraser Health and the province of British Columbia. Your tuition includes the cost of food. Rochester Daycare has policies and procedures in place to handle dietary restrictions and allergies with caution and care. We work closely with parents to ensure that individual needs are accommodated.

After School Care

We do not provide after school care at this time.
